Lexicon MPX110
Lexicon's entry-level dual-channel rack processor — genuine Lexicon reverb algorithms in a 1U unit, with delay, chorus, pitch and modulation effects accessible at an approachable price.
Overview
The MPX110 sits at the entry point of Lexicon’s MPX series, below the MPX500 and the flagship MPX1. What it carries over from the more expensive models is the thing that matters most: Lexicon’s reverb algorithms, which have been the industry benchmark for decades — the characteristic density, diffusion, and tail decay that no amount of plug-in emulation has entirely replaced.
Dual-channel processing means it can handle stereo sources properly. Beyond reverb, it covers delay, chorus, flanger, pitch shifting, and modulation effects, though reverb is clearly where it shines. The interface is minimal — a single data wheel and a small display — which keeps it fast to operate once you know your way around the menu structure.
In a studio full of digital synths from the 90s, a hardware Lexicon reverb is the natural complement: it gives those instruments the spatial glue they were designed to be used with.
