Overview
The V-Amp Pro is the rack version of Behringer’s popular V-Amp floor unit — a 1U guitar amp and cabinet modeler aimed at recording and live use. It models a wide range of classic amplifier characters (clean Fender-style, British crunch, high-gain American) paired with various cabinet simulations, making it usable for direct-to-desk recording without a physical amp.
Onboard multi-effects (reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, wah simulation) are integrated into the signal chain, and full MIDI control allows patch recall from a foot controller or sequencer. A speaker-compensated output makes it practical for direct recording or feeding a PA.
In an electronic / synth-oriented studio context it can also serve as a creative processing tool — running non-guitar signals through amp sims and cabinet models adds interesting grit and colour.

I bought it in 2004. Used it a few times. I think it deserves more.
